Re: Using bluetooth mouse adapter for headphones? Aahhh, righto - My mouse has a little adapter-shaped recess with a tiny switch in it, the adapter presses against it and turns the battery off  I don't think a Bluetooth adapter will 'see' the mouse (or keyboard if using a 'Desktop-Set'), at least my adapter doesn't, when I scan for devices with it.
I'm using Windows 11 Pro with Realtek and MaxxAudioPro Firstly, if I connect headphones after startup, I get no sound. Secondly, MaxxAudio does not pop up when I connect headphones (I have the popup setting correctly configured) I can only get sound if I connect headphones BEFORE I start the...
Re: My PC Thinks My Headphones Are Speakers It's normal. The drivers assume any device connected to the rear/motherboard ports are speakers and any device connected to the front panel port are headphones. There is no way to actually detect what kind of device is connected, the drivers simply see that something is connected.
Hello, I've been having an issue lately with my laptop (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54) in which my headset (HyperX Cloud Stinger) will allow audio output, but my laptop refuses to let the headset mic be used. Windows 10 Version 2004, (OS Build 19041.508). My laptop automatically uses the default mic...

I bought this headset a few months ago and it's worked very well so far. There's only been a couple of connection issues where I would have to take the USB out and it reset. Last night it was turning off on it's own, after about 15 minutes each time, while playing a game with audio and talking...
Hi. Are you saying that the laptop came preinstalled with Windows 10 and ALL device drivers, but it wasn't producing any audio on both its internal speakers as well as your headphones? If you're looking for the Realtek HD audio control panel/manager, it may not be present, or it may have been customized to use DTS Headphone:X instead. A lot of laptops these days come with such audio ...
I lost the lithium ion battery of my Photive BTH3 wireless headset when the cover fell off while I was traveling. Can you please have someone who owns a similar unit simply check the battery specifications? Thanks in advance.
